Frank Green, President of Skytone Records and owner of DigitalMaster Music Video Productions, moved to Nashville, TN more than twenty-four years ago to further his music recording and production career. He started working as an assistant for a top recording engineer and producer at CBS (later Sony) Recording Studios, one of the last “major label” studios to exist. Upon its close Frank began working at a leading Nashville studio and quickly advanced to the position of chief engineer. During the 90′s, Frank was a partner at the renowned Woodland Studios; one of the oldest, largest and most revered recording studios in Nashville. From the early sixties until its close shortly after the devastating tornado of 1998, Woodland was responsible for a myriad of Country chart hits such as, The Oakridge Boys, Patty Loveless, Faith Hill, Nancy Griffith, and more. Many Pop and Rock acts recorded there as well including, The Eagles, Kansas, Neil Diamond, Bob Seger, and The Fixx, just to name a few. In addition to running the Mastering studio Frank also engineered and produced many projects at Woodland. Since that time Frank has become an independent recording engineer/producer who works with many of the top recording artists in Nashville. Now, Frank is VP of Skytone Records LLC Nashville concentrating on Artist development and promotion. Frank also operates DigitalMaster Music Video Productions, which specialize in artist development, music production, and video production. Frank’s son Sean joined the team in early 2006 and now runs the video production branch of DigitalMaster.
